Main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange reaches all-time high of 18,749.46 points
The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, registered on Thursday an increase of 0.69% compared to the previous session, reaching an all-time high of 18,749.46 points.
The BET index appreciated this year by 21.98%, and in the last month it registered an increase of 4.05%. The trading exceeded 64.1 million RON, respectively 12.9 million euros, of which 58.21 million RON (11.71 million euros) represented transactions with shares. The most liquid shares were those of Transilvania Bank, which recorded transactions of 19 million RON, followed by the shares of OMV Petrom – 6.91 million RON and Romgaz – 6.02 million RON.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, recorded an increase of 0.63%, while the index of SIFs, BET-FI, appreciated by 0.37%. The BET-BK index, the yield benchmark of investment funds, gained 0.31% in value, and the BET-NG, which measures the performance of the ten energy and utility companies, closed up 0.29%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, appreciated by 0.08%. The best developments were recorded by Societatea de Constructii Napoca (+12.26%), UAMT (+10.38%) and Condmag (+9.09%). On the other hand, the most significant decreases were recorded by Mecanica Fina (-3.85%), AAGES (-3.23%) and Rompetrol Rafinare (-2.99%).
